EPFO started new service called UAN service.
Actually What is UAN ?
UAN stands for Universal Account Number. This is the unique ID. You do not create multiple member ID if you change your job. If already UAN allotted to you once; Then you required to provide the same details on joining new establishment to enable the employer to in turn to mark the new allotted Member ID to the already allotted UAN
Ex: Earlier if you change your job; you should withdraw your PF amount but now you can transfer your amount to your current employment PF Account. You can operate the same UAN account even though you got a new job.
This UAN Service will help you to
- view the details
- Download the passbook
- View previous member ID
- View the status
- Transfer the claim
- Check the transfer claim status etc
Also you can update your KYC documents and mobile number etc
Really this is a grate idea of EPFO.

ReplyDeleteI have applied balance for transfer on 31.03.2021, still showing "Accepted by employer -> pending at field office", my UAN no is 101331554033.
Please do the needful on Urgent basis.
